Denise White is the Chief Nurse Executive/VP Patient Care Services at Carolinas HealthCare System Union and Carolinas HealthCare System Anson. She is a proud Alabama native and graduated with her BSN from the University of Alabama School of Nursing and subsequently complete her MSN in 1988 at UAB. She has lilved in North Carolina for almost 30 years and worked for Carolinas HealthCare System the entire time at various facilities in numerous roles. CHS Union and Union County is her home as Denise's passion continues to be nursing practice in a community-hospital setting with a focus on excellent patient outcomes and access to care in the communities where their patients live.
She is proud to serve as a member of the Union County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Additionally, she serves on the Union County United Way Board of Directors and has served in several roles including Campaign Chair and Community Investment Chair. Giving back to her community is something that is a passion, driven by amazing parents who led by example.
Beach time and traveling with family and friends bring Denise much joy! College football (ROLL TIDE!) and basketball and Atlanta Braves baseball are always great times for food, fun and fellowship too!
Denise is honored to be asked to participate in this event as a "full-circle" moment. She grew up in a rural Alabama farming community and was active in 4-H, participating in many events with family and friends!
