Union County 4-H Foundation
Tony is the QA Manager/Facilities at BetterCarPeople. Tony
started skit dancing in the mid 80’s while he DJ’d in Tampa and then at Boppers in Charlotte. In addition, Tony was a
part of the Kyle Petty NASCAR Race Team in the mid 90’s.
Tony has since become fascinated with renaissance festivals and role playing at many festivals; Florida, Texas and North
Carolina, and is now co-owner of GypsySpirit Tribe.
Brenda works as a teacher's assistant at East Elementary.
She is an avid belly dancer - beginning in 2004 and
becoming a professional belly dancer in 2007. She is belly dance instructor since 2015 and co-owner of GypsySpirit Tribe the only belly dance Studio in Union County!
Her belly dance journey began in 2004 when she saw the AMAZING Yasmine dance at the Carolina Renaissance Festival. Three years later she had the honor of dancing with Yasmine on the Dutch Door Stage at the Carolina Renaissance Festival. The Jewels of the Caravan were an Award Winning Act and Brenda was honored to be a part of the troupe. Yasmine’s dance style was an art form filled with elegant moves expressing grace and strength. She inspired Brenda to learn how to express her inner goddess. After years of learning from Yasmine and several other famous dancers and drummers, she found she had developed a desire to inspire others to dance.
Tony & Brenda will have Zenaida Chandler as their instructor.
